| Werkzaamheden | The Marketing Communications translator will work in the expanding Europe translation team and report to the Marketing Communication Manager. The main task is the creation of localized content. The Marketing Communications translator translates product catalog text, web site, brochures, advertisements and other marcomms material from English into German. Besides the native language skills, excellent English skills and good level work experience with translator software tools – ideally with Across - are a must. Internal training on products will be provided. This is an in-house and full-time position.
Key Responsibilities: Taking the existing English collateral, the Marketing. Communications translator articulates the key message in the specified local language. The result is more of a re-write in the local language then a straight translation. Work with the in-house reviewers to correct text. Creates and maintains the company`s translation memory program. |
| Vereist | Must have skills: 2-3 years experience in technical translations and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently. Good to excellent knowledge of translation software tools, ideally in Across. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English mandatory) and the requested local language Must be able to create acceptable concepts in a variety of styles and tones dependent on marketing project objectives. Must be able to work within a multicultural team of translators, writers and coordinators. The ability to operate self-directed and proactively on given tasks. Attention to detail a must. |
