| Werkzaamheden | General Responsibilities
● Provide new product ideas and changes to future product. ● In house product testing for technical issues experienced infield. ● Answering the Extron S3 Hot Line. ● Performing technical support over the telephone for Extron products and related AV products. ● Trouble shooting technical problems with AV systems over the phone. ● Providing advanced replacement product for Extron products that has failed “out of the box.” ● Issuing Return Authorizations for Service of Extron product. ● Providing product specifications of Extron products in AV applications for Extron dealers and end users. ● Dispensing general information on AV products, audio and video signals, and other topics related to the use of Extron product, and in short providing Extron dealers and end users with an AV technical expert. ● Generating and maintaining a professional and friendly relationship with Extron dealers and end users. ● Entertaining Exton dealers and end users at Extron and dealer related functions. ● Traveling to, and representing Extron at trade shows and dealer events, including participation in set up and tear down of such events. ● Maintaining constant communication with the Regional Sales Manager and other team members with regard to dealer related issues within the territory. ● Maintaining a complete set of user guides and manuals in such a way that they are quickly and easily accessible the individual AE. ● Maintaining computer files documenting problems encountered and the solutions generated. ● Thorough understanding of the Extron product line, product functions, features and applications. ● Developing and constantly improving the level of technical knowledge the AE has of Extron products and the related technologies, and attaining certification on designated products, products lines, related technologies and test equipment. ● Developing a working knowledge of competitive products and related technologies. ● Learning new products and related technologies quickly and thoroughly. ● Learning new computer hardware and software skills as required in office and technical/field environments. ● Taking orders over the telephone. ● Issuing Return Authorizations to Extron dealers for the return of Extron products. ● Providing product availability and pricing information over the phone to Extron dealers and end users. ● Performing other sales related tasks as needed. ● Training of sales team members and new employees. ● Training of Extron dealers and end users. ● Participating in video conferencing with Extron dealers and end users. ● Preparation of training material and other technical literature. ● Traveling to trade show sights, dealer/end user offices, and job sights in order to fulfill any of the responsibilities listed above, as required. |
